Abstract. This article provides a brief overview of a thematic block of articles prepared based on reports presented at a scientific conference dedicated to the 85th birthday of M.G. Kramarovsky, Doctor of Historical Sciences and leading researcher in the Oriental Department of the State Hermitage Museum (November 12–14, 2025). The thematic block includes ten scientific articles on various topics related to the history, archaeology, and culture of the Ulus of Jochi and adjacent territories. The articles analyze artifacts discovered during archaeological excavations, summarize the results of long-term archaeological research at various sites, analyze military-political and socio-economic events, and highlight the specifics of handicraft production, present new data on the reconstruction and restoration of individual sites, and much more.
